Peckforton Castle Wedding Video // Jessica & Victor

Jessica and Victor had a winter wedding at Peckforton Castle and it was a gorgeous sunny day at the wintery Cheshire wedding venue.  Our videography began with shots of both the bride and groom getting ready which we are able to capture due to using two videographers on all our shoots.

Victor made a great speech which we used as the dialogue for the wedding film and it really was from the heart.  The visuals we captured reflect the mood of the castle, using only available light from the castle windows.  This was juxtaposed with the bright and happy mood of everyone involved in the wedding.

We shot this wedding using our trusty Canon DSLR's and Manfrotto monopods with audio captured using a variety of sound recorders such as the Yamaha C24 and the Zoom H4n recorders.  We're really pleased with the how their wedding film has turned out, congratulations Jessica and Victor x

North West Wedding Videographer // Hannah & Shaun

North West wedding videographer is one of the names we like to go by.  We make wedding videos mainly in the North West of England and sometimes venture  a bit further but generally you can find us here.  Hannah and Shaun's wedding was at the amazing Peckforton Castle whhich has seen been the host to many a footballer's wedding and it's a venue that attracts a lot of celebrity weddings to the North West.

It was a winter wedding and the weather was a little bit damp but that didn't stop the bride and groom from having an amazing day celebrating their marriage with their friends and family.  The whole day was at the castle which made it a bit easier for this north west wedding videographer.  Despite the gloomy surrounding we were able to create a stunning film using our Canon 5D mk3's with prime lenses to make the most of the available light.

Hannah had gone to so much effort to put lots of details into the castle such as a vintage typewriter which we used to create an intro for the video.   With these images we used the audio from a music box which the Bride's auntie bought for her for that day.  The day went perfectly well and everyone had a fantastic day of fun and laughter.  There was also a lot of emotion which is always the case for a North West wedding videographer.  We had a really heart-warming ceremony, a drinks reception with lots of laughs followed by speeches that made people laugh and cry, including by the bride.  The day finished with plenty of drinking and dancing in The Great Hall.

Thanks Hannah and Shaun for choosing us as your North West wedding videographer. x

Manchester City Centre Wedding Video // Anna & Chris

Manchester city centre is one of my favourite wedding video locations and Anna and Chris' wedding was no dissapointment!  The day began at  The Place which is a hotel with some superb apartments on the edge of Manchester's Northen Quarter.  This was also to be the venue for tonight's celebrations.  Anna was getting ready in one of the split level apartments on the top floor of this typically Mancunian red brick building.  Spirits were high with music blasting and champagne being drank, everyone was having such a good time.

We also shot some of the groom getting ready but Chirs wasn't quite as relaxed as Anna!  He shot off to the the ceremony venue at first oppourtunity at a blistering pace and was difficult to keep up with even for wedding videographers as fit as ourselves!  We still got some cracking shots across twon from The Dunlop Building to Manchester Town Hall.  The ceremony went without hitch and it was enjoyed by everyone.  Once the marriage was done everyone headed over to The Place for the reception although we stuck with the bride and groom as they went for some photos around Manchester.

Once we arrived at The Place we got some shots of theguestsa dn the venue itself, it looked fanctastic with some great details such as the big light up letters.  After the meal we had the wedding speeches and these were hilarious, especially Chris' speech which I've used for the edit of this wedding videography highlights film and it works really well.  The day ended with a live band and some amazing dancing from the guests.  It made for some fantastic wedding video material as you can see.  Congratulations Anna and Chris x

Farm Wedding in Cheshire // Katy & James

Last summer Katy and James tied the knot in Cheshire with a Church wedding followed by a reception at the family farm that Katy has lived on all her life and now she runs it too!  We always shoot with two wedding videographers so we can get shots of the bride and groom getting ready on the morning of the wedding and this is exactly what we did for this wedding.  One of the team started with Katy at the farm, picking up establishing shots of the farm and various shots of the bridesmaids and Katy getting ready.  It was a busy house with plenty going on!  A few miles away in Cheshire our other wedding videographer was with James and the groomsmen.  They also had the job of sticking signs up along the way to the Church which gave us the opportunity to make a cool little montage of the journey to the Church.

The Church was a stunning ancient building and was packed with guests and Katy made a fantastic entrance to the sound of bagpipes!  After the ceremony of matrimony everyone headed back over to School farm for the wedding reception.  The huge farmhouse had the addition of a very large marquee which looks great on the wedding video.  Guests could help themselves to oysters, champagne and canapes.  The bridal party and close family headed over to one of the barns for photos.  A pile of hay bales had been setup especially for the wedding photos and it looked great.

After the photos were finished we headed inside for the wedding breakfast and the speeches.  The best man used a big screen for his wedding speech to use a video presentation for comedy effect.  After the speeches the guests were surprised by singing waiters who had everyone up dancing and singing, a lot of fun was had by all.  That led us onto the evening party and the two painists entertained everyone on the dance floor, it was a really great atmosphere and we got lots of great wedding video footage.  The night ended with pizza being served from a land rover, it was perfect!  Congratulation Katy and JAmes! x

Delamere Forest Wedding Video // Hannah & Ben

Delamere Forest isn't your normal wedding video location!  Hannah and Ben really had a wedding with a difference.  It all started at Hannah's parent's house in Manchester with an equally Mancunian Church service at a traditional red brick Church.  Hannha and the bridesmaids arrived at the church in three matching minis!  Everything went according to plan and then this wedding really kicked into gear with Hannah and Ben's festival wedding reception in Cheshire!

This wedding reception was held at Delamere Forest, a videographers dream wedding!  The only problem was that it was October and so the weather could play a very important factor, it could make or break the day.  It was dry but a little cold when we arrived at Delamere but as the day progressed it got warmer and warmer.  Some really fun games were played during the wedding breakfast as you can see on the video and then once the speeches were over everyone came outside to a beautiful summer's day complete with epic sunset!  Welly wanging and tug of war were played by everyone including the bride and groom and we managed to capture some amazing video as the sun was setting.  We used a Canon EOS M camera with an 18mm lens shooting 1080p high definition coupled with a Came-TV Single which is a a camera stabilization system also known as a gimbal.  These videography shots look soooo good!  Moving through the guests, dodging wellies and capturing gorgeous lens flares as we shoot into the sun.

I know the area well and suggested we go down to the nearby lake for the end of sunset as the sun sets over the lake.  It was a really beautiful moment for this delamere forest wedding video.  Various shots of Hannah and Ben enjoying the view, geese flying across the vista - perfection!  The wedding ended with a band playing in the tipis with some amazing dancefloor action.  There was also firepits outside for the guests to sit around in the evening, a real festival vibe!  One of my favourite wedding videos ever!  Congrats Hannha and Ben! x

Thornton Manor Wedding Video // Sarah & Jamie

Thornton Manor is a great wedding video location on The Wirral.  It is a huge place and can actually hold a couple of weddings on the same day.  It has fantastic gardens and stunning rooms throughout.  The Music Room is a particular favourite of mine and it has been used as a setting for TV commercials.  It has a large curved celing and a balcony that contains an organ.  You can see it below in Sarah and Jamie's Thornton Manor wedding video, the best man actually makes his speech from the balcony in the music room, it was hilarious!

Sarah looked stunning in her simple dress and flower head garland.  The boys wore very smart morning suits and together they made the perfect match.  The ceremony was held in the drawing room and then the guests moved into the long gallery and as it was winter decided not to venture outside too much.  It was dry but pretty cold! The bride and groom did risk the cold to go outside for some photos and we had the pleasure of working alongside the awesome Lucy Greenhill Photography who put us to good use as light stands, we do come in handy sometimes!

The guests moved into The Music Room for the wedding breakfast and the speeches and once the room was turned around for the evening celebrations the dancing began.  We had a lot of fun capturing some exceptional dance moves, especially from the Bride's brother who was steaming! Congratulation Jamie and Sarah and thanks for choosing us to shoot your Thornton Manor wedding video. x

Upper House Hayfield Wedding Video // Nicola & Lee

Upper House Hayfield is an incredible wedding venue in derbyshire which the team had the pleasure of shootinga video at in the summer of 2015.  Nicola and Lee had a fantastic wedding there and the effort they went to in order make it extra special was second to none.  They hired Red Floral Architecture who, as always, did an outstanding job in making the venue look perfect.  The groom wore a shapr suit and the bridesmaids wore complementing pastel colours which perfectly suited the Volkswagen Camper Van that they arrived at the Church in.

After the quaint Church wedding service we headed over to Upper House Hayfield which is set amidst amazing scenery such as woodland and a huge valley.  We were really lucky to have some beautiful light during the day which helped us capture some cool light flares and we even set up some cameras to capture timelapses of Upper House Hayfield.

We always shoot our wedding videos with two videographers using Canon 5D mark 3's and a variety of lenses.  This year we've also been using a Came-TV Single which is a hand-held gimbal that hold mirrorless cameras and allows us to mave fluidly in any direction we choose.  This means it can act as a jib, a slider and steadicam but without the need to set up various bits of equipment and it makes our wedding videos that extra bit special as you can see in this Upper House Hayfield wedding video.

It was a great wedding, thanks for choosing the team for your Upper House Hayfield wedding video Nicola and Lee x

Manchester Wedding Videographer // Rachel and David

As a Manchester wedding Videographer there is one venue in particular that stands out as being something out of the ordinary adn a little bit extra special.  That venue is Gorton Monastery.  The Monastery was once a real monastery inhabited by monks until the cost of running the huge building became impoossible to keep up with and the monks abandoned the monastery.  In the following years the building fell into ruin, anything of value was stripped by thieves and very quickly the once impressive monastery was left as nothing but a shell.  It wasn't until very recently that the monastery became the property of a non-profit organisation whose aim is to restore the monastery to it's former glory.  Slowly but surely the monastery is becoming the spectacle it once was and in order to generate the money for the restoration the monastery is now a fantastic wedding venue.  It boats the second highest vaulted ceiling in the country after Westminster Abbey, that's just how big it is!  That's why being a manchester wedding videographer at this venue is so amazing, the venue has a huge and interesting history and is simply stunning.  Rachel and David got married there this summer and it was a spectacular wedding to match the spectacular venue.  The boys wore matching tuxedos and Rachel wore a stunning white dress.  The guests were blown away by the venue and the amazing ceremony.  The speeches were also fantastic with a very funny best man speech from David's brother.  The evening finished with some hig octane dancefloor action which we always love to shoot.  Congratulations Rachel and David!

Mottram Hall Wedding Video // Helen & Will

Mottram Hall wedding videos are always good fun to shoot and Helen and Will's wedding was no exception.  It was a beautiful sunny day and we began at Helen's mum's house which was packed with bridesmaids, family and friends who had travelled from all over the world to be there.  The church was like something from a postcard and was really stunning.  To my surprise I recognised the best when I arrived at the church and soon worked out it was former England rugby league star Ellery Hanley!  After the churhc service we followed the bride and groom onto the stunning Mottram Hall for the wedding reception.  Mottram Hall has undergone a full refurbishment recently which has made it a truly stunning venue and it has amazing grounds and gold course to match.  The guests and bride and groom enjoyed a drinks reception on the large lawn to the rear of Mottram Hall which backs onto gardens that make a perfect setting for bride and groom portraits.  Later on in the day as ther sun was setting over the gold course we made the most of the amazing light and went out for some more bride and groom time.  The speeches were fantastic and Ellery made a wonderful speech about the couple and about love in general, it was truly heartfelt.  The room was dressed by Alison from Lasting Memories who is amazing at what she does and the room looked spectacular!  After a quick turnaround after the speeches we were ready for the evening celebrations, the dancefloor looked extra special with big light up letters and as soon as the first dance was over the dancefloor was packed and stayed packed!  It was a fantastic end to a perfect Mottram Hall Wedding Video, thanks Helen and Will for choosing us to be your wedding videographers x

The Mere Wedding Video // Rebecca & Andy

The Mere Golf and Country Club in Cheshire is a wedding venue that we've shot wedding videos at many times.  It is one of the most prestigious golf clubs in Cheshire with many local celebrities being members there.  We even had tennis legend Goran Ivanisevic posing with one of our couples there!  Rebecca and Andy had a stunning wedding video at The Mere.  It was a really fun day with a big emphasis on family, you can see in the video how much love there was in the room!  Rebecca and Andy looked absolutely stunning and The Mere was a venue to match.  Photography on the day was from the amazing Martin Cahill Photography and together we made a great team.  The guys especially enjoyed whizzing around on golf buggies to take the couple off for a quick portrait session around the gold course and various points of interest at The Mere.  It is quite a large venue with some great locations for photos so it was really handy and fun to use the buggies!  The team really enjoyed the wedding and the full film was packed full of fun shots of all the friends and family and we had some great footage going on into the evening too.  Thanks for having us along to create your Mere wedding video Rebecca and Andy, enjoy! x

Bartle Hall Wedding Videographer // Holly & Lee

As a wedding videographer Bartle Hall is a great location, the grounds are fantastic and the rooms are light and airy.  Holly and Lee got married at Bartle Hall and hired us to shoot the videography and photography after meeting them at the Manchester Wedding Show a couple of years ago.  The day began at Bartle Hall with Holly and Lee both getting ready at the venue, both of them looked stunning and Lee's Leboutin shoes were real bobby dazzlers as you can see in the wedding video.  We had a great day in terms of the weather and Lee and Holly had gone to town on the details for the wedding.  The rooms were dressed with amazing flowers and various books, trinkets, perfume bottles and vintage clocks, everything looked perfect.  They even gave each individual guest a dirreferent wedding favour tailored for them.  From cufflinks to suit that person for the boys and nail varnish in a colour chosen by Holly for that person.  The ceremony was a lot of fun with a lot of laughter and the drinks reception was the same with the kids playing on the grass and a magician entertaining the guests too.  After the fantastic wedding speeches the evening celebrations began and the dancefloor was hammered all night I doubt Bartle Hall have a better wedding video shot there because this wedding was immense!  Congratualtion Holly and Lee, thanks for choosing us as your Bartle Hall wedding videographer. x

Manchester Wedding Video // Kate and Andrew

This Manchester wedding video is set at the beautiful Mere Court Hotel.  It's a venue that the team have shot at before so we knew that it was going to be a good one.  Kate began her day at her parents house getting ready with her bridesmaids before heading off in a vintage Rolls Royce to the church to meet Andrew.  As you can see from the highlights we achieved perfect sound throughtout the day.  Sound is of the upmost important to us as a team when we shoot weddings and it helps if the groom does a great speech which Andrew did as you can see!

This manchester wedding video uses dialogue to bring out real emotion and tell the story in a whole new depth rather than just seeing images.  The team uses lapel microphones to get such clear sound.  The groom wears one during the wedding ceremony and the speeches, it really is so important.  The reception at Mere Court was a lot of fun and we had perfect weather for it.  Photography on the day was by the wonderful Paula Beaumont photography who captured some cracking shots throughout the day.  The day was rounded off with some dancefloor action with Kate and Andrew choosing The Beach Boys for their first dance which made our manchester wedding video team very happy indeed!  Congratualtions Mr and Mrs Ainsworth!

Colshaw Hall wedding videos are always great because it is such an amazing wedding venue.  Royah and Carl's wedding was like something from a glossy magazine!  Royah and all her bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning and the guys looked great in their tuxedos.  It was a fun day from start to finish, the bride and groom have such a good group of friends and family, you can really see that in their wedding video.  The day of the wedding started at Colshaw Hall which is a stunning venue in Cheshire and is a large converted family home, we then moved onto St. Oswalds Church for the ceremony.  After the ceremony Royah and Carl drove back to Colshaw Hall in a beautiful vintage Porsche and the the wedding guests followed them back to Colshaw Hall for the drinks reception.  Some of the details of the wedding were really cool such as the large light up letters and the Mariachi Band playing during the drinks reception.  I really enjoyed being a Colshaw Hall wedding videographer and the team are booked to go back there in 2015 and 2016, we can't wait.  Congratulations Royah and Carl! x
