Hellen & Alexander // Cyprus Wedding Video Highlights

This summer we had the pleasure of shooting our first destination wedding!  Hellen and Alexander got married at the Anassa Hotel in Cyprus and it was a spectacular venue with views looking out over the ocean.  This venue couldn't be any better, the day started with the traditional 'dressing of the bride' ceremony which was very emotional and then moved onto the courtyard and chapel within the hotel grounds for the ceremony.  It was a baking hot day but the ocean breeze kept everyone cool on the veranda after the ceremony until the sun went down.  The guests then moved on to the most amazing setting for a wedding breakfast; an outdoor restaurant with trees stood between tables with lanterns hanging from their branches.  Some great speeches followed and then an awful lot of dancing and then some more dancing!  It was a great experience to travel to Cyprus to shoot a wedding, hopefully there'll be more in the future!

Helen & James // Wedding Video Highlights at Thornton Manor

Helen and James got married at the amazing Thornton Manor this summer.  One of the funniest weddings we've been to, it was a good laugh all day and the speeches were top notch.  Look out for the groom on a vintage ice cream bike!

Giannina + Matt // Married!

A few months ago I posted Giannina and Matt's engagement shoot which was a belter and a few weeks ago it was their wedding at St John's in Chorlton and then onto the Great John Street Hotel.  I'd been looking forward to this wedding all year and it did not dissappoint,  G and Matt are a top couple and the wedding had vintage styling from top to bottom and the greatest carrot cake I've ever tasted.  When it came to go home at the end of the night I didn't want to leave, it was that good!

Sophie & Stuart // Wedding Video Highlights

Sophie and Stuart were one of the last people to get married at Peckforton Castle before the now famous fire that destroyed a large part of the castle.  The craziest thing about the fire is that it was started by an out of control groom on his wedding night!  Luckily at Sophie and Stuart's wedding there was only goopd-natured craziness!

Gemma & Mike // Wedding Video Highlights

Gemma and Mike got married earlier this year in Manchester with the reception at The Stanneylands Hotel.  Our second cameraman Harold (sounds like an old duffer with that name but he's in his twenties) has been trying to nail the 'wedding-car-on-the-motorway-hanging-out-of-the-window' shot for ages now and he finally nailed it!  Unfortunately I had to take out the audio of him screaming in excitement as it wouldn't really suit the tone of the music.
